Mark and Linda Sheffield first moved to this property in 1980 when they returned to Fulton     County after 6 years in the Air Force.  The house was built in 1986 and has served as a meeting place for family and friends ever since. When bad luck and hurricanes ruined several beach        vacations, the Sheffield’s friends and family left the beach and continued the vacation on Cherry Lane.  The sunflower design was chosen for its reputation as a happy, healthy, vibrant flower and represents the feeling of the Cherry Lane Retreat.
